CARAVAN PARK DESCRIPTION: 
Situated 69KM south east of Melbourne on Western Port Bay, the Stony Point Caravan Park is an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a spot of fishing, tour the local tourist attractions or discover the wildlife both on the mainland and French Island. From Stony Point you can explore the whole of the Mornington Peninsula including the many galleries, cycling tracks and wineries or enjoy a game of golf on one of the many courses. Cerberus Golf Course is only 2km away.
Once the centre of communication for the whole of Western Port it is still the port for the passenger ferries to French and Phillip Islands. With the Stony Point railway station right next door you can have the convenience of train travel all the way into Melbourne. It is also a short distance to the three lane Stony Point boat ramp.
The park is operated by the Crib Point Stony Point Foreshore Committee of Management Inc., a group of local volunteers who manage the area of Crown Land from Jacks Beach Reserve to Stony Point for the Department of Sustainability and Environment.
The caravan park has tent sites and 50 powered sites, many of which are used by annual holiday makers. There are also On Site Vans and Cabins, ideal for fishing groups or family and friends catching up with graduates from nearby HMAS Cerberus, the largest naval training establishment in Australia.
