CARAVAN PARK INFORMATION

If you think that staying in a caravan park on the Mornington Peninsula means you are going to be spending your days crammed into the middle of rows of caravans, then you haven’t seen Glenvue Caravan Park. The park was started from scratch by the Flynn family about 40 years ago it is now watched over by Jeff and Pat Flynn. Set on 11 acres and located about 3 km from the safe swimming areas of Rye Beach we are about the same distance from the Rye back beach and surf coast of Bass Strait. With 151 sites spread out amongst the sand dunes, you can look out across to the ocean from the top of the park as you relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the rest of the world. Although the park is spread over a large area, with 3 amenities blocks no site is far from one of them.

With a swimming pool and literally kilometres of paved roads, the children will be lost for hours but you still know where they are. Since the park is dog friendly, your 4 legged friends will be welcome here too (provided you walk it on a lead and clean up after it) but you need to speak to us about that first. Let’s face it, since we’re still here after 40 years it’s probably because we’re friendly all round.

Of course Mornington Peninsula is about more than swimming and relaxing, there are numerous golf courses, wineries, craft markets, horse riding, boating and of course great scenery and that’s just to mention a few of them. The Peninsula has something to suite everybody’s interests and at Rye we are in the middle of it all.

No casual sites or accommodation are available as the park only caters for Annuals (yearly long term holiday sites) and permanent residents. Although our sites are all occupied, we do have people move on so some units come on the market from time to time. If you would like to enquire about availability, please give us a call.
